In the year 2000, as a Millennium Project, local photographer, David Anderson undertook to photograph his home village. Born and brought up in Busby, he is a fourth generation resident of the village. His great-grandfather, William Duff, paid for the “Duff Memorial Hall” as a War Memorial for those lost in the Great War. This Memorial has recently been re-dedicated to include all Busby servicemen lost in both World Wars. Thanks to the Creative Commons Licence all his hard work is being made available to his community and the wider public thought this site.
